Ask Questions, Create Value

Sometimes you simply can’t find an existing value in your industry or geographic region.  Which brings us to the question: How do you create a value, or “wave” in which to sell when that value is not already in place?

YOU have the ability to create a value or trend where one doesn’t exist.  By performing some rather easy research with existing customers, you can initiate your own value proposition.

Here are some questions you should be asking your most loyal customers:

  •  What are we doing that affects you the most?
  •  What are we doing right that you would like to see us do more often or better?
  •  What are we not doing that you wish we could do for you?

Of course it helps to be creative, but don’t excuse yourself by saying you’re not a creative person.  Creativity isn’t always necessary.  By asking the right questions and listening, you can allow your customers to do the creativity for you!
